How: Our team collects all types of LEGO pieces and sorts them into custom sets. We then design and package each set with original instructions, making them easy and fun for anyone to build.
Why: Giving back to our community is a core value of our team and our school. By creating accessible LEGO kits, we aim to expand opportunities for hands-on STEM learning, ensuring that more people can explore creativity, problem-solving, and engineering in an engaging way.
Step 1: Collect & Gather
Collect all types of LEGO pieces from donations or available supplies. Sort them into usable groups.
Step 2: Clean & Prepare
Ensure all pieces are clean and ready to be reused. Remove any damaged or unusable parts.
Step 3: Design a Build
Create a simple, fun build using the LEGO pieces (for example: a dinosaur, castle, or rocket).
Step 4: Make Instructions
Draw or design easy-to-follow instructions so others can recreate the build step-by-step.
Step 5: Package the Kit
Place the LEGO pieces and instructions into a labeled box or bag. Each kit should be complete and ready to use.
Step 7: Share with the Community
Deliver the kits to kids or community members, giving them the opportunity to build, create, and explore STEM concepts.
